Al Roker had shoulder surgery yesterday, and he’s already given us an update.
It was a success and physical therapy starts Monday.
But then he said this:
“See you in the funny papers”
Is that his thing? Is that his catch phrase? Is this 1972?
David Blaine is going to do what cartoons have been doing for years: He’s going to fly over New York City holding a bunch of helium balloons.
It’s happening on August 31st, and will air on YouTube. I guarantee over half of the people who plan are watching are secretly hoping he falls from the sky.
Matthew McConaughey says for him, there has been a bright side of the quarantine. It’s all the extra time he’s spending with his family, because, quote, “My mental health and family life are improving.”
I would hope so.
