The Scoop for Aug. 27, 2019

The MTV Video Music Awards were last night, and Johnn Travolta was there to present an award. And if you remember, John hasn’t had the best luck when announcing winners:
Her name is Idina Menzel, but anyway. John knew he might be in a bit of trouble.
He refused to read the card saying he always says the wrong thing.
Good for you John. But then he turned around and screwed it up anyway. See, Taylor Swift won the award, but John tried to hand the award to a drag queen, not Taylor. Come on John. I’m an idiot and I know what Taylor Swift looks like. Get it together man.

I’m pretty stoked about this one. Eddie Murphy will finally return to host “Saturday Night Live” on December 21st.
It’s been 35 years since he was on the show performing comedy. More Eddie Murphy is never a bad thing, Pluto Nash included.

Not really Hollywood, but sort of, there’s a website, Tracking Board, that has a job listing for a, quote, “Actor and Actress Couple Seek Assistant”.
So if you can lift heavy things, make travel arrangements, and run personal errands, your in. Hmm. Sounds like this celeb couple is looking for a parent, not an assistant.
