The Scoop for Aug. 4, 2020

I admit I’m a Val Kilmer fan. He’s been Iceman, Batman and Jim Morrison. But he’s been having a rough go of it lately, He had to have a tracheotomy because of his throat cancer. But in spite of it all, he’s doing well.
Ok, even he says he doesn’t sound great, but he says he feels a lot better.
Best of luck Val.

Dwayne The Rock Johnson is expanding his franchise.
Yep, The Rock just bought the XFL, and if things go the way he wants, they could re-launch inside a virus-free “bubble” as soon as next year.

I’m not a huge reality show fan, but this is just ridiculous. “Bachelorette” Clare Crawley is quitting the show, because she fell in love with one of the contestants.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t that the whole point of this game show?
