The Scoop for Aug 9,2017

Trump gets fired up; Will Smith could be the president; Dave is back; Shia LaBeouf isn’t doing anything newsworthy right now…

Bonus Scoopage: Former Duke boy, Tom Wopat has released a statement explaining that he deeply regrets the events that caused him to be arrested. Tom hinted that he has been dealing with a lot in his personal life and addressed his issues by using drugs. A written statement from Tom’s representatives said he will be taking time off to “address his ongoing struggle with substance abuse. While death and illness in the family, combined with the intensity of his recent schedule, certainly contributed to his misstep, Tom definitely understands that sobriety is the sole course for a successful future and will take immediate steps to achieve it.”
While I hope that Tom gets the help he needs with his addictions, because that’s not a good place to be, I notice he didn’t actually address that fact that he may have groped one of his co-stars. Impaired or not Tom, that’s just not cool.
