The Scoop for Dec. 19, 2018

Remember the band The Runaways? The band with Joan Jett and Lita Ford? Well, their bass palyer, Jackie Fuchs, was on Jeopardy this week, and we found out all kinds of stuff about her. She used to be Malibu Barbie, she’s an attorney and a writer, and this little tid bit: she’s “happily divorced”. Ok. I guess that means she won’t have to split her winnings, which is a good thing.

Wendy Williams bailed on her show Monday, but there was a pretty good reason.
She broke her shoulder on Sunday. But the crowds reaction was super weird. They didn’t really react to hearing she broke her shoulder, but they gasped out loud when Wendy said that by Monday her shoulder was, quote, “On fire.” Did they not think breaking her shoulder would hurt? Was it really that shocking?

Speaking of getting hurt, Jerry O’Connell was trying to decorate his house for Christmas with what I can only imagine was some Griswold level Christmas lights, because Jerry says he almost fell off his roof not once but twice trying to decorate. See, that’s why all my lights are inside. Also, I’m scared of heights and I’m not getting on a ladder for anyone, even Santa.

Bonus Scoopage:
Pixar’s animated short film Bao was shown in theaters before Incredibles 2 and has been named an Oscar finalist in the Animated Short Film category. Check it out.
