The Scoop for Dec. 6, 2018

Last night on Jeopardy, one of the contestants plays roller derby, and decided that host Alex Trebek needed a roller derby nickname. She came up with Impalex Trebek, Alex Tre-block, and Double Jeopardy. I don’t think he was into it. I would have went with Alex Tre-BLAM! But that’s just me.

Natalie Portman and Jessica Simpson got into a dust up on Twitter yesterday over a photo from 1999. But they quickly patched things up. You know, if it weren’t for Twitter fights, we wouldn’t be talking about half the stars in Hollywood. So thanks internet?

I’m not saying it’s a slow day in celebrity news, but here’s what passes for a headline on the internet:
“Kirsten Dunst smokes cigarette in dressing gown and slippers on Louisiana set of new comedy series.”
Huh. Kirsten Dunst has a new show coming out. I guess that is news.

Bonus Scoopage:
Jeffrey Dean Morgan adopted a homeless donkey / emu couple for his family farm. And yes, I mean, the donkey and emu are apparently a couple. They’re named Jack and Diane. Kind of cute really. And oddly enough, not the weirdest “celebrity” couple I’ve heard of.
