The Scoop for Feb. 14, 2019

So this years Oscars will go on without a host, and now they’re going to skipping out on a few other things as well. Four awards will be given out during commercial breaks. I know, I know, I’ve got money on the “Film Editing” category too. Now I’ll have to find out who won online. But seriously, they have 24 categories and it takes them four plus hours to hand them out. Pick up the pace guys.

Steve Harvey had comedian and actress Mo’Nique on yesterday, and honestly, it was one of the most interesting interviews I’ve seen, because Mo’Nique threatend to punch Steve right in the face. See, if the Oscars had that instead of Best Hair/Make Up, they wouldn’t bury it during the commercial break. Just sayin’.

I didn’t realize that before they made The Matrix, the Wachowskis wanted Will Smith for the role of Neo, but he said no. Mostly because, according to Will, their pitch was, well, really weird. (You can see Will’s story below.) So instead he made Wild, Wild West. I’m not proud to say I watched Wild, Wild, West… and kind of liked it.
