The Scoop for Feb. 14, 2020

Jim Carrey’s latest movie, “Sonic the Hedgehog”, is out just in time for Valentine’s Day. Of course this is based on an old school SEGA video game. So Jim sings the SEGA theme song.
It’s just two notes.
I think he nailed it.
Yep, nailed it. I wonder if singing that theme was on his bucket list?

The Houston Astros are apologizing for cheating in 2017 when they won the World Series. Well, they’re sort of apologizing. Just listen to owner Jim Crane’s response to this pretty basic question.
Reporter: But was it cheating?
Jim: We broke the rules. And you can phrase that any way you want.
If I tried to use that logic on my mom when I was a kid, I’d end up grounded, and sent to my room with a sore back side for sassin’. Just sayin’ Jim.

We’ve all seen the mispelled tattoos online right? Well you can ad a celeb to that list, but this one is a bit less obvious. Orlando Bloom got a tattoo that features his son’s birth date and time. And his son’s name spelled out in morse code.
And that’s where the problem is. Orlando’s son’s name is Flynn. But, the morse code actually spells out FRYNN. Oops. Could have been worse. I mean, it could have been the actual letters. Or, NO REGERTS.
