The Scoop for Feb. 19, 2020

We’ve got another celebrity break up. This time around, it’s Al Pacino.
Yep, Al’s 43-year-old girlfriend has left him because, wait for it, because Al is 79. She says, quote, “It’s hard to be with a man so old, even Al Pacino.”
You know he didn’t just suddenly turn 79 right? He was old when you started dating him. But I think the real reason she left was because she said Al’s cheap. Al’s being old was fine until he wouldn’t open his wallet. Interesting.

Hollywood mainstay Harrison Ford has made a rather drastic change to his diet recently.
“I eat vegetables and fish”
So is this for health reasons? Watching your weight? Why the change?
“I just decided I was tired of eating meat.”
So you were bored. Seems like as good a reason as any.

I’m sure you’ve seen the backlash against the Huston Astros for their cheating back in 2017, the year they won the world series. A lot of people are not happy with what they see as a lack of punishment for the team. Some people think the Astros should be stripped of their World Series title, including New York Yankees Aaron Judge. And is reason is pretty sound:
“They cheated, they didn’t earn it”
He’s not wrong.
