The Scoop! For Feb. 22, 2021

Today is Drew Barrymore’s birthday, and she’s celebrating on her show with a bunch of special guest. But one, is a bit more special.
David Letterman makes a surprise, in person, appearance on her show today, and she was super excited. And before you ask, no, Dave did not climb on her desk and flash her. She doesn’t have a desk on this show.

Janet Jackson was so grateful for gymnast Margzetta Frazier using Janet’s song “Nasty” in Margzetta’s routine, she Facetimed the gymnast. And it was pretty typical, thanks for being awesome and using my song, but then this little nugget popped up.
She asked Margzetta if she would teach her to tumble.
Now don’t get me wrong, I think Janet is amazing. But she’s my age. And you want to throw your body around on the ground like you’re still in college? If I did that, the next time you saw me would be in a Life Alert commercial.

So the documentary, Allen v. Farrow just debuted it’s first episode. This is the show that investigates Woody being incestuous and abusive to one of his daughters with Mia Farrow. Well, Woody and his wife/step daughter Soon-Yi have responded, saying that the people behind this show had, quote, “no interest in the truth”.
Well, what else is Woody going to say? “Well, yes, everything they said is true. I’m a terrible person, and an incestuous abuser” Yeah, that’s just not going to happen. I’m honestly surprised he responded at all.

Bonus Scoopage:
Michelle Pfeiffer whipped the heads off those four mannequins IN ONE TAKE to thunderous applause from the Batman Returns crew!
