The Scoop for Feb. 28, 2020

Billy Idol has found himself a new part time gig. He’s working for the city of New York on a new anti-idle campaign. See, he wants you to shut off your cars’ engine instead of idling. Get it? Billy Idol, don’t idle?
I think he’s actually pretty stoked about this whole thing.
Maybe a little too stoked.

Speaking of musical Billys; Back in the day, Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top was watching “The Phil Donahue Show,” and they disguised a guest’s voice to protect their identity. And Billy thought it sounded pretty cool. So he used it in the song Manic Mechanic.
I wonder if Billy gave Phil a writing credit for that one?

So while everyone was waiting to see if the Friends reunion was actually going to happen or not, Courteney Cox was blabbin’ to Kevin Nealon on his YouTube show.
Look, I get it. The Friends haven’t really been on TV together since the show ended. But it’s just them talking about the show. Am I the only who’s a little underwhelmed by this “reunion”?

Here’s a fun little bit of Bonus Scoopage:
