The Scoop for Feb. 7, 2019

With the state of politics these days, it seems no matter what side of the aisle you’re on, you need a stiff drink just to talk about it. Take Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer. Is it me, or did he have a few while watching the State of the Union? Because he went on TV right after, and, well, here’s a quote…
“I love velvet. It feels good.”
Ok. Sean. Maybe lay off the Vodka Red Bulls before going on TV.

The Patriot fans came out in droves for victory parade this week. 1.5 milliion people showed up and, according to eternal bro Rob Gronkowski, it was awesome.
Quote, “The best party. It’s the best experience anyone can go through.”
Gronk goes on to describe an incident that happened during the parade. He took, quote, “Full beer can right to the face.”
And these are their fans. Throwing full beer cans at the team. What would the Philly fans throw if they didn’t like you? Rabies?

Celebrity buddies Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds called a truce in their internet feud and offered to make ads for each other’s products. Ryan’s was very heartfelt and actually really good, but then it came time for Hugh’s ad, and well, he took a different approach. Quote, “Ryan Reynolds is a complete and total ***&%$%***&%$”.
So maybe the truce isn’t quite as on as we thought.

Bonus Scoopage:
These days, it’s pretty much impossible to turn on the television — or head to the theaters — and not see some reboot or remake. Everything, from Rugrats to Beverly Hills 90210, is being revived — and we might see Lost added to the list. When asked about the possibility of bringing Lost back, a bigwig at ABC revealed he’s not opposed to the idea. Karey Burke said, “I would like that very much. That is a reboot I would be interested in seeing.” Look. I loved that show, at first. But let’s just let this one be Lost, ok?
