The Scoop for Jan. 6, 2020

The Golden Globes were last night, and since all of Hollywood was in attendance, this is a Globe heavy Scoop today.
Will Ferrell was presenting an award with Pierce Brosnan and, well, Will was a little star struck with Pierce.
I mean, don’t get me wrong, Pierce is a good looking guy, but is it me or did Pierce have a little Colonel Sanders thing going on last night?

Brad Pitt won a Golden Globe last night which is great, but he did have one regret last night.
“I wanted to bring my mom but I couldn’t… because any woman I stand next to they say I’m dating, and… it’d just be awkward.”
I get that. And it’s adorable, but what’s this all about?
“I want to thank my partner in crime, LDC.”
LDC? He means Leonardo DiCaprio. Is that a new thing? LDC? No. Stop trying to make this happen Brad.

And since this is an all Globes Scoop, we have to talk about my guy Ricky Gervais. He’s the best. No one was safe from his comedy.
“I came here in a limo tonight, and the license plate was made by Felicity Huffman.”
Dude, that’s funny. I know the crowd was on him a bit, but c’mon, that’s funny. And if you thought he was going to make any political statements, well, there you’re wrong.
Just listen to it below, it’s awesome.
So hats off to Ricky Gervais. He’s the one reason I would actually watch an award show… I mean I didn’t watch, because internet. But you get it.
