The Scoop for Jan. 7, 2019

So the Golden Globes were last night, and hosts Andy Samberg and Sanda Oh decided to do something a little different. They gave the audience flu shots.
I’m guessing they’re hoping this bit goes viral. Get it? Viral? Flu Shot?

Speaking of the Globes, during his acceptance speach for Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical, Christian Bale changed things up quite a bit when it came time to thank people. He thanked Satan.
When asked about what he thought about being acknowledge on stage, Satan said, “Well it’s about time. I mean, if it weren’t for me, half those people wouldn’t have a career. I mean look at William Dafoe. You think anyone wants to see that face on a 50 foot screen? No. That’s all me.”

So the new season of “The Bachelor” kicks off tonight, and it’s already off to a very Bachelor start. A girl put on her Australian accent to get Colton’s attention. And it worked. He loved it. So, she’s hoping to get Colton’s attention with her voice alone, but wait! There’s a catch. She’s not Australian. Nope. She just faked the accent.
Because starting a relationship on a game show isn’t bad enough, she feels the need to lie on day one. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say she’s not going to be “the one”. Just a hunch.

Bonus Scoopage:
DONNY OSMOND has begun work on his 62nd album. From his Twitter:
“I’m excited to let you in on a little secret. I’ve officially started working on my 62nd album! 🎶
I’ll keep you posted throughout the year as I continue creating it, but I have a feeling you’re going to love it. ”
I think the biggest secret here is Donny has recorded 61 albums. I would have said six tops.
