Tina Turner is just plain magic. But sometimes she has to be talked into making that magic. Take her biggest hit ever, 1984’s What’s Love Got to Do With It”. Huge hit right. Well, it almost wasn’t.
“I can sing it, but I don’t like it.”
So how does a song she doesn’t like become her biggest hit?
“I applied my voice. I “Tina’d” it up.”
Yeah, that would do it. See, she can do that. You can “Tina” something up. You can’t “Doug” up something… I mean you can, but it’s exactly like it sounds. Which ain’t great.
It’s been a while since we’ve heard about Mama June and Honey Boo Boo, but, long story short, someone is finally stepping in to protect Honey Boo Boo and her money.
Apparently, the family had an attourney step in and move her money to a new account that Mama June can’t touch. Which is actually pretty smart, but my one question is, what took so long. Why didn’t this happen the day after Mama got busted with her man-panion for crack cocaine?
What started as a bit of a joke might turn into a crossover dream come true. Last week, the Always Sunny in Philidelphia guys were poking fun at Steve Carell and his The Office mates because they were filming where The Office used to film.
Well now, Steve Carell thinks maybe a crossover is the only solution. Steve says how about “It’s Always Sunny in Scranton.’ I say yes please. You know how I like my mashups and crossovers. I’d watch that all day.
