The Scoop for July 18, 2019

Jon Stewart has been fighting to get the medical bills of 9-11 first responders taken care of for years now. But Rand Paul just blocked the bill that would have taken care of that, and well, Jon is not impressed.
No jokes here. He’s right. You can’t praise those who risked their lives on 9-11 and claim, “Never Forget” and then turn your back on them when they need help. Do better.

You can count on Will Smith to post something to his social media that everyone will be talking about. Ever wonder how he did that? He just asks his kids for help.
“We need to do something that trends.”
Unfortunately, his kids weren’t having it.
“We go on vacation so we don’t have to do something that trends”
And oddly enough, even though they said they wouldn’t help, Will was right. This is trending. That’s some reverse psychology tredning right there. Will’s a genius.

You hear about celebrity feuds all the time. Take Katy Perry and Taylor Swift. They were going at each on social media. But now, that’s in the past. They’ve made up. How did they do that you ask?
“We started talking a little bit. And realized how much we have in common.”
Wait. You had a conversation? You reached out and actually spoke to each other? That’s just crazy. Who knew you could get past a dissagreement with a civil conversation. Must be some weird Hollywood Mojo.
