The Scoop for July 20,2018

The White House invites company over; Denzel calls in some favors; and Barbara Streisand is kind of a crappy friend…

So yesterday, the Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats found out that the White House has invited Russian President Vladimir Putin for a visit this fall… and all he could do is laugh and say “That should be special.” And he’s not wrong… It’s the first sleep over Melania has let Donald have since moving to the White House, so fun times.

You’ve probably heard that Denzel Washington played a pretty big part in the career of Chadwich Boseman, the star of Black Panther, because he paid for Chadwick’s college. And when he went to the Black Panther premiere, Denzel asked Chadwick, “Where’s my money?”

So Pierce Brosnan went to Barbra Streisand’s house to watch a movie, because that’s what friends do… and her dog Sammy bit him…So being friends, Barbara did what any friend would do in that situation… She checked to make sure her dog was ok first. Gotta be honest. That doesn’t surprise me a bit. Barbara seems a bit off.

Bonus Scooopage:
Despite what you may have heard on the Internet, MR. BEAN is not dead. Despite a death hoax that has now come around a third time, Rowan Atkinson is very much alive. This was actually an attempt to spread a computer virus. The hoax claimed Rowan died in a car crash while attempting to do a stunt. The story also included a video with a play button that invited people to watch, which leads to a website asking people to share on Facebook and complete a security test. But after sharing, the site instead offers a support phone number where scammers were allegedly trying to get the callers’ credit card information.
