The Scoop for July 27, 2020

So MLB is piping in crowd noise for their games. I get it. It helps gives the game a live feel. But the Oakland A’s are going one step further, with a little help from Tom Hanks.
They got Tom to record some amusing audio as a stadium vendor, and they’re mixing it into the fake crowd noise for their home games.

Bill Murray got into the Baseball action a little differently.
A little seventh inning stretch Cubbie action from Bill. And, no, he wasn’t the stadium, it was just a video that was shared online.

The Voice power couple Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, have been spending their down time doing, quote, “country things”. He means, they’ve been picking black berries and growing their own sweet corn.
I’ve been doing country things too, but I just mean I don’t use a hanky when I blow my nose, and I’ve started using the outhouse, and by that, I mean my neighbors shed

Bonus Scoopage:
Bugs Bunny turns 80 years old today.  The first official Bugs Bunny cartoon called “A Wild Hare” debuted July 27th, 1940, and featured Bugs outsmarting Elmer Fudd for the first time.
