The Scoop for July 30, 2018

Demi Moore was the big surprise guest at the Bruce Willis roast last night. But she did her best to be nice to him. Like when Bruce said their marriage ending was his biggest failure, she was there to remind him… no, no it wasn’t. For instance there was Hudson Hawk, Planet Hollywood, and Striking Distance. But the biggest failure in her mind was when Bruce turned down George Clooney’s role in Ocean’s 11 so he could concentrate on his harmonica skills.
See Bruce? You’re divorce barely cracks the top 10 of your list of failures…

Now, not every one was piling on the Bruce Willis for being an awful musician. Martha Stewart said she really appreciates Bruce’s music… She plays it at parties when she wants everyone to leave… Wait. So The Return of Bruno isn’t a good party soundtrack? That would explain a few things…

I know this is a lot of Bruce Willis, but I feel like I have to share at least one thing from Bruce, and I quote, “Die Hard is not a Christmas movie.”
Ok, this might be your biggest failure Bruce… because Die Hard is totally a Christmas movie…

LeBron James finally talks about becoming a Laker. He says it’s great to be working with Magic Johnson and the timing on this was just perfect.
Timing, and, well, let’s be honest, a truck full of money. I”m sure that has something to do with it…. maybe a little.

Bonus Scoopage:
For some reason, the Internet is trying to get Nirvana to reform with Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger on vocals. Nothing will probably come of it, but that won’t stop people from talking about it.
