The Scoop for July 30, 2019

Remember comedian Dane Cook? Well he recently made this little revelation:
“I’ve never had a sip of alcohol or done a drug, ever.”
Which, I mean, good for you man. But you know what that means right? All of that bro comedy he did, he did while 100% sober. So that was all him. Let that sink in.

And speaking of things people have never done before, apparently Jennifer Lopez has never driven a car.
Which I’m sure made her man-panion A-Rod feel great about spending $140K on a Porsche for her. You know that’s just going to sit in the back of the closet like that shirt my mom got me three Christmases ago. Mom, I’ve never worn a shirt like that, what would make you think I’d start wearing it now? A long sleeve polo? With a collar? Come on.

I know a bunch of you are stoked about the Top Gun Sequel. I mean Maverick is back. So ETOnline.coom asked Kelly McGillis if they reached out to her to bring back Charlie Blackwood?
“They did not, and nor do I think they would ever?”
So why do you think they didn’t ask you Kelly?
“I’m old, and I’m fat… and that is not what that whole scene is about.”
I have to be honest, I love that she’s super honest about where she’s at and how she’s super good with it. Good for you Kelly for loving who you are, which is why we still love you.

Here’s Mark Hamill on the first day he’d met Harrison Ford during a screen test for Star Wars. Neither of them had read the script at that point, and they didn’t know what the movie was about.
