The Scoop for July 8, 2020

If you spend any time on social media, you’ve probably seen this meme about Rob Lowe. it says, “HOW MANY LOWE’S COULD ROB LOWE ROB IF ROB LOWE COULD ROB LOWE’S?” Well, there are even T-Shirts now, and Rob Lowe got to thinking.
He wondered if he and Lowe’s could team up and make some money of this. So he called them.
And how’d that go?
They didn’t get it.
Apparently the folks at Lowe’s don’t know how the internet works, so I fell like both Rob and Lowe’s are missing out on some sweet meme money.

Ringo Starr celebrated his 80th birthday yesterday. So how does it feel to be 80 Ringo?
He says he doesn’t know, because in his mind, he’s still 24. Also, he can’t rmember the 60’s… and maybe other decades.
No wonder he thinks he’s 24. He doesn’t remember half of his life.

It finally happened. Will Ferrell just scored his first Hit song. It’s called “Husavik”, from the movie “Eurovision Song Contest”. It debuted at #16 on the Billboard Digital Song Sales chart. I like Will Farrell, but I only got through about 30 minutes of that thing. I’m glad he’s got a hit song out of it, but I just wasn’t feeling it.

Mini Bonus Scoopage: The fastest man alive, Usain Bolt, named his newborn daughter: Olympia Lightning Bolt. I kind of dig it.
