The Scoop for June 14, 2019

Remember when Paula Abdul was out of the limelight for about seven years before popping up on American Idol? Ever wonder what happened?
Well according to her, she was in a plane crash and needed time to rehab.

“I was traveling from one city to the next, in a small seven-seater plane, one of the engines blew up and the right wing caught on fire, and we crash-landed. I didn’t have my seatbelt on and I hit my head on the top of the plane.”
Here’s the thing. There are no records of this plane crash actually happening. Of course one of the issues is her story has changed over the years of telling it. So is she lying about the crash? Probably. Now, it’s possible she hit her head while on a plane, but I’m guessing that was probably drink related and not exploding engine related. But that’s just me guessing.

In this day and age, guys really have to keep their hands to themselves at work, as they should. Even if they’re big celebrities working with their spouses. Take Kevin Bacon when he works with his wife Kyra Sedgwick.
“I have to be careful to try to keep my hands to myself when my wife is around, as a matter of fact she said to me once, “Please don’t touch me there.”
I’m going to assume she meant “on the set”. Don’t touch me on the set where everyone can see.

Also, if you listen, you’ll hear some awesome Alex Trebekk. You’re welcome.
