The Scoop for June 24, 2019

The Lion King is 25 years old. Crazy I know. What’s even crazier is we could have had both Cheech and Chong in it. Cheech was one of the hyenas, but Tommy Chong turned them down. Apparently he got kicked out of Disneyland for wearing an obscene t-shirt, which sounds about right. He would have been amazing. But, it’s probably best he said no, because the whole time the hyenas would have been on screen, I would have been saying, “That’s Cheech and Chong!”

Add Paul McCartney to the list of celebs who are not going to be doing this anymore.
“I’m sorry, I don’t do pictures, but I’m very happy to shake your hand.”
Sorry. No selfies. But he will shake your hand. Which I find weird. No pics, but you’ll touch someone? Have they washed that hand? Have you seen other people’s hygene? It’s not great. I’d much rather take a pic than touch a thousand strangers, but that’s me.

The comedy tour you didn’t ask for is happening anyway. Andrew Dice Clay and Roseanne Barr are launching the Mr. and Mrs. America Tour.
It’s going to happen this fall, so now you know.

Bonus Scoopage:

Mark Hamil sings the Child’s Play Song. Enjoy.
