The Scoop for March 14, 2019

Remember how scary Anthony Hopkins was in Silence of the Lambs? Turns out Jodie Foster was just as scared of him as we were. She was so scared of him, she never spoke to him until the last day on the set. Now I want to watch Silence of the Lambs… with the lights on.

Having a comedian for a brother seems like it would be a lot of fun. Until you have your brother make the best man speech at your wedding. Like when comedian Jim Jefferies gave his speech at his brothers wedding. Quote, “Me brother Scott called me up and he said he met the girl of his dreams and he said he could never imagine living without this woman. Anyway, two weeks later he called me back and said that didn’t work out. He’s met a girl named Claire. Things are Ok.”
Oddly enough, that didn’t get the reaction he was looking for. Maybe his brother doesn’t have a sense of humor, I thought that was pretty funny.

As this whole Hollywood pay to learn scandal continues to unfold, we’re finding some interesting things some of these people have said in the past are a bit, well suspicious now. Like a couple years ago when Aunt Becky was talking about how she parents.
“You know what I never do? I never push my kids.”
And why is that?
“In life if you give it your all and you do the best you can that’s all you can do, and that’s enough.”
And when it isn’t enough, there’s always that pile of money in the corner right Aunt Becky? So you don’t have to push your kids, when you can push your check book.
