The Scoop for May 2, 2019

Former child star Ricky Schroder got himself arrested because he apparently punched his girlfriend. This is the second time in a month that Ricky has been accused of punching her. The last time there were no charges due to lack of evidence. But come on Ricky, get it together Schroder.

Mr. Facebook Mark Zuckerberg was trying to poke a little fun at himself and Facebook at a conference this week, but it didn’t go over so great. Mostly because what he said wasn’t really a joke, it was just a true thing. His attempt at a joke was, quote: “I know that we don’t exactly have the strongest reputation on privacy right now, to put it lightly.”
That wasn’t a joke. Saying you protect the privacy of your Facebook users, now that’s a joke. See the difference there?

So Alex Trebek gave another update on his health recently and he says that he’s discovered something he didn’t know before. Quote, “I’m a bit of a wuss.”
To be fair, Alex, you are fighting Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer, so don’t be too hard on yourself. But Alex says doctors say he’s doing well, even if he doesn’t always feel that way.
Go get ’em Alex.
