The Scoop for May 23, 2019

In case you missed it, ABC did a live performance of “All in the Family” and “The Jeffersons” last night. And if you don’t think it was really “live”, well, Jamie Foxx is here to prove you wrong. He totally flubbed his line. Totally. To his credit, Jamie owned his flub like a boss. I think I’d watch more network TV if it was live.

America’s favorite actor Tom Hanks was at a music festival rescently and headed to the beer tent to have a tasty beverage. But, he was denied by the beer ladies. Why?
His ID hadn’t been varified.
First: This is Tom Hanks. Everyone knows who Tom Hanks is. And Second: I’m guessing Tom was able to throw some Tom Hanks favor their way to get a beer. I was wrong. Tom offered to take them to the premier of Toy Story 4 and they still wouldn’t cave. I mean, I respect their dedication to the rule, but still, I think they’re gonna regret turning down that offer. I’d have taken it.

Jennifer Garner spoke at her alma matter, Denison University, this weekend for their graduation ceremony… and she had some challenging questions for the graduates.
“Why would you dress like a flirty nurse, when you could be a mail box?”
You know, she’s not wrong.

Bonus Scoopage:

This suprise appearance on the live version of The Jefferson’s last night was awesome.
