The Scoop for May 25, 2020

John Krasinski was the internet darling when he launched his Some Good News show on YouTube during the pandemic. And now, the internet hates him for selling his Some Good News show to CBS All Access.
Here’s the thing. Normally, I think the internet over reacts to things like this, but honestly, they’re not wrong. He made 8 episodes for free and now you’re going to have to pay to see the show and he won’t even be hosting it anymore. Does kind of seem like a cash grab John.

It looks like there was a failed coup attempt over the weekend to see who would be the leader of Journey… and Neal Schon won. Neal has added a new drummer and bass player after the old rhythm section apparently tried to take control of Journey. And Neal isn’t messing around, he brought in the Big Dawd… Yep, former “American Idol” judge Randy Jackson is Journey’s bass player again.
Randy played on Journey’s 1986 album “Raised on Radio” and the subsequent tour.

Remember a week or so ago when Queen guitarist Brian May tore his butt muscle gardening? Turns out that’s not exactly what happened.
He had a compressed nerve.
But that’s not all that happened during his gardening incident.
He had a ‘small’ heart attack.
How small are we talkin’?
Quote, “I was actually, very near death because of this.”
So to be clear: Brian May didn’t tear a butt muscle while gardening, but he did almost die from a, quote, small heart attack. I am never going in the garden ever again.
