The Scoop for May 27, 2020

Spider-Man himself, Tom Holland, has a new arch enemy. The Pigeon. Well, a pigeon anyway.
A pigeon flew into Tom’s living room, and Tom had to shoo it out of his house with varying degrees of success.

Chrissy Teigen got a coronavirus test recently and it didn’t go as expected. If you don’t know, to do the test they take a foot long swab and insert it all the way into your nasal cavity, which is way farther than you think.
No, that’s not her during the test. That’s Chrissy before the swab is in her nose.
She actually giggled when she got her coronavirus test.
I mean I know some have nick named the test the ‘brain tickler’, but I think Chrissy took that name literally. I don’t think the brain has a ticklish spot, but I could be wrong.

If you’re like me, you pronounce Steve Buscemi’s last name the wrong way. Because, the way Steve pronounces it, it’s “Boo-SEM-ee”.
But, since Steve is Italian, if you were in Italy, you’d say it a third way…
It would be pronounced Boo-SHAY-me.
So what have we learned? It doens’t matter how you say Steve’s last name. You or I are probably never going to talk to the man, so pronounce it however you want.
Or when some one tries to shame you when you pronounce it Boo-shem-ee, you can counter shame them with the Italian Boo-Shay-me, and Boom! We’re all word nerds.
