The Scoop for Nov. 1, 2018

Some people will do anything to get a break in Hollywood, but this guy, Todd LaTourette, did something most people would never think of. He cut off his arm at the elbow with a circular saw. Why? To get noticed in Hollywood. He then passed himself as a wounded vet for years jut to get acting jobs. He came clean this week.

Nicolas Cage has been a super hero fan since he was a kid, but his first experience dressing like Batman wasn’t so super. His grandma bought him a Batman costume, but the cape was lost, so she improvised in a very grandma way… she wrapped a drab, plaid blanket around his shoulders and said, “There you go!” Needless to say, Nic wasn’t very happy about it. Nic, you should have just went full on nerd and said you were Ragman. That cape would have been perfect. Ok, so his cape is actually green, but I didn’t think anyone would get the Modelling with Millie reference. I know, this isn’t so much a punch line as it is evidence of my nerdiness. Seriously, Google it.

Good news Jeopardy fans. Alex Trebek has signed on to host the show through 2022. So we get four more years of Trebek magic.

Bonus Scoopage:
JERRY SEINFELD has announced standup dates for 2019, including multiple shows at the Beacon Theater in New York and Caesars in Las Vegas. The downside? He’s not coming anywhere close. Check out his tour RIGHT HERE.
