The Scoop for Nov. 12, 2018

Pete Davidson from SNL made an on air apology to soon to be Congressman Dan Crenshaw for joking about his appearance… and Dan accepted. And then Dan got in a few digs of his own. Over all, it was pretty funny. And the whole point is, Dan wasn’t that upset by it. Why? Because he knew it was a joke. Good on both these guys for how they handled it.

Hey look! A reboot that isn’t going forward. Yep, the ALF reboot has been cancelled due to lack of interest.

So the People’s Choice Awards were last night and the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon won. Now I’m not the biggest Jimmy Fallon fan, but I have to give him props for who he thanked for his success. Justin Timberlake. He’s only half kidding. JT has been the best part of that show since ever.

Speaking of awards, Sarah Silverman got her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and her ex-boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel spoke at the ceremony. And he talks about the song she did on his show. She won an Emmy for that appearance, by the way. Don’t get me wrong, I like both Sarah and Jimmy, but… Who’s idea was it to have her ex talk at the ceremony? You couldn’t fine any one else? Was Ellen busy? Also, side note. I’ve got huge celeb crush on Sarah. And a bit of a man crush on Jimmy. Go figure.

Bonus Scoopage:
Ben Affleck has not returned to rehab days after his divorce from Jennifer Garner was finalized. A British tabloid fist reported the false story, which was then picked up by a number of entertainment websites.
