The Scoop for Nov. 13, 2019

Back in the day, one of Adam Sandler’s acting professors took him out for a beer and told him he should quit, because he’d never make it. Fast forward to when Adam made it big, he ran into that professor, and well…
He introduced him to his friends as the only teacher who ever bought him a beer.
Pretty cool right? He didn’t rub his face in it. Didn’t mock him. Just was thankful for the beer.

Speaking of back in the day, back when Melanie Griffith was shooting “Working Girl”, she showed up completely wasted one day, and got fined $80,000 for causing a delay in shooting.
She says, quote, “It was the late ’80s. There was a lot of cocaine. There was a lot of temptation.” Ah, the 80’s.

So it looks like we’re seeing the final days of “Days of Our Lives”. The entire cast has been let out of their contracts, and the show is on “indefinite hiatus.”
But enough shows have already been taped to last well into next year, and negotiations are underway to bring it back. Serious question. How long before Hollywood starts rebooting the soap operas?
