The Scoop for Nov. 8, 2018

With the mid term elections over, the President has started to call for some co-operation between the two parties. Because working together is what it should be about, right? Plus there would be some good will there right? Plus, according to President Trump, “Cuz I think ‘m better at that game than they are actually.”
And, one upmanship. Sure. Take that! I work together better than you do!

Johnny Depp’s Captain Jack Sparrow was flat out awesome. And recently revealed his secret for getting into that character. Sitting in a super hot sauna. He would sit in there until it, “affected me mentally”. And did that work? According to Johnny, yeah.  Quote, “His brain has been par boiled to some degree.” Yeah, that sounds safe. I’m sure there’s no linger effects of slightly boiling your brain juice. You’ll be fine.

Sure, Idris Elba is People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive, but Megan Mullally thinks her husband, actor Nick Offerman could easily take that title. Quote, “The way that man maintains his back hair is not to be believed. It is professional level.” Wait, is that a good thing? Is there a pro-level back hair? Is that a thing? Are there like tournaments? Competitions? Endorsements? Is it like the NBHA, National Back Hair Association? I need to know these things. Also, I might need one of those shirts.

Bonus Scoopage:
The Brady Bunch cast didn’t just reunite at the site of their old TV home, they’re also going to be a part of the house’s renovation. On November 1, the six Brady siblings who starred in the classic sitcom came together for the first time in 15 years to kick off A Very Brady Renovation, HGTV‘s show about overhauling the iconic house that served as the Brady home’s exterior from 1969 to 1974. As part of the celebration, the cast announced their plans to participate in the redo, with each actor pairing up with designers from the network’s hit shows to restore the home inside and out. Renovation will premiere on HGTV in 2019.
