The Scoop for Oct. 23, 2018

Freddy Krueger is one of the most resiliant movie villains ever, but actor Robert Englund is a bit more breakable. As a matter of fact, back in the day while filming a movie with Kris Kristofferson, Kris broke him. Literally. Kris broke his nose. And he wasn’t the only one. Nope. Richard Gere did the same thing a few years later in another movie. Clearly that was before Nightmare on Elm Street. Can you imagine Richard Gere going toe to toe with Freddy. No contest.

If you’re like me, you don’t necessarily believe that two people are fated to be together, but Will and Jada Smith might change your mind. Sure they’ve been married for 20 years, but it didn’t start that way. You see, Will went to meet Jada back in the day, but that’s when he met Sheree, and married her. But the day they got divorced, he called up Jada, and they’ve been together ever since. So is that fate, or just crazy?

I’ll admit it, I’m not the biggest country music fan, but, thanks to moments like this on The Voice, I’m a Blake Shelton fan. He said, quote, “I don’t drive down back roads listening to Mariah Carrey!” Me either Blake. Me either. There’s just something likeable about that guy.

For a little bit of bonus, check out audio for some random Alex Trebek. It’s his sincerity I love…
