The Scoop for Oct. 26, 2018

It looks like funny man Martin Lawrence isn’t a fan of horror movies. He says that the Texas Chainsaw Masacre really, “scared the mess outta me.” And even though that movie came out back in ’74, it still stuck with him.

Tiffany Haddish and Jimmy had a lip-sync battle last night, and Tiffany did “Afro Puffs” by The Lady of Rage.  Then when Jimmy tried to compliment her, he screwed up the lyrics, and she called him out in the most adorable way possible. Quote, “Everybody messes up lyrics sometimes to songs they don’t know.” Well played Tiffany.

Megyn Kelly has been on her apology tour, but it wasn’t quite enough. Megyn is officially out at NBC, but it looks like NBC could still be on the hook for the rest of her 69 Million dollar contract. Man, even sitting on the side line, she’s growing that bank account.

Bonus Scoopage:
The first official Star Trek cartoon has been ordered by CBS All Access — with Emmy-winning Rick and Morty writer Mike McMahan on the project. The show, titled Star Trek: Lower Decks will be a comedy centered “on the support crew serving on one of Starfleet’s least important ships.” CBS said McMahan pitched the show this way: “I want to do a show about the people who put the yellow cartridge in the food replicator so a banana can come out the other end.” I would watch that.
