The Scoop for Oct. 29, 2018

Remember that Rick Astley video, Never Gonna Give You Up? Have you ever watched it and wondered, “Who thought that overcoat was a good fashion choice?” Turns out, it was Rick. Yep. He brought his own clothes to the video. But what really sucks, is during a radio interview, some kids took that sweet coat off of him and he’s never seen it since. That’s actually a shame. I mean, I mock it now, but I’d totally wear it today.

If Mike Tyson gets his way, you’ll be seeing a lot more of him on TV soon. Mike is shopping a show about his life as a marijuana grower. I actually think a bunch of people would watch that show. I mean I’d watch that.

A lot of celebrities will go on TV to ask you to go vote. But Will Ferrell took it to a new level, the streets. He did hit the streets to help Stacey Abrams in her run for Georgia Governor.

Bonus Scoopage:
Modern Family co-creator Christopher Lloyd said in September that a “significant character” would die in this season of the hit ABC comedy sitcom. It stirred up lots of discussion about which character might see their demise. When Wednesday’s episode revealed that Lloyd was referring to Shelley Long’s character DeDe, mother of characters Mitchell and Claire, many objected to Lloyd’s reference to DeDe as a significant character. Now, Sarah Hyland (who plays Haley) and Jesse Tyler Ferguson (who plays Mitchell) is hinting that a bigger storyline is coming this season. Sharah even hinted at which character it may involve. She said, that this “bigger thing than the death” is coming, and that “it was a shock, that’s for sure” and “there’s a lot happening with Haley, but I can’t say.”
