The Scoop for Oct. 3, 2018

If you think the new Roseanne show without Roseanne, better known as The Conners, won’t be as good because they’ve have lost the core values that made the show special, I think you might be surprised. Or not, I have no idea. From the preview, it looks decent. It debuts October 16th.

If you’re on the interenet, well, ever, you’ve probably seen that pop star Justin Bieber got secretly married to Hailey Baldwin. But don’t worry, they’re probably going to have a big, star studded shindig here in a bit. And third favorite Baldwin Brother Billy says, you might be able to go, but there’s a catch. Billy wants to raffle off his plus one to this celebrity wedding reception that hasn’t even been announced yet. In his defense, Billy says the money woud go to charity. Some would say, agreeing to be his date is charity enough. Hey Yo!

Hunky Australian Man Candy Chris Hemsworth admits that his work has probably suffered a bit due to being a dad. It’s not that he regrets having kids. Nope. It’s because his family is more important to him that work that some of his roles have suffered. So wait, let me get this straight. He’s tall, handsome, built like a bull, has a cool accent and he’s a solid family man? Great. Guess I should work on an accent.

Bonus Scoopage
It’s pop star Lady Gaga vs Anti-Hero Venom. Kind of. People who identify themselves as Lady Gaga fans are taking to Twitter in droves to talk smack about Venom, the comic book movie starring Tom Hardy that is opening in theaters this weekend. Why? because Lady Gaga’s movie A Star Is Born also opens this weekend. Scores of Twitter users have sent the same message out: “I am the biggest marvel fan but I just watched #venom and I don’t know what to say. Easily the worst movie this year. I expected so much better and now I’m just disappointed.”
Here’s the deal. If I had my heart set on seeing Venom, and saw reviews weren’t great, do they really think I’m going to see A Star Is Born instead? Spoiler alert: Probably not.
