The Scoop for Oct. 8, 2018

Recently actress Debra Messing was asked whether she’d rather be trapped in an elevator with Donald Trump or Susan Sarandon. And her answer might surprise you.
She chose President Trump. I’m guessing there would at the very least be some interesting conversation. I don’t see Donald Trump staying quiet for long. But that’s just me.

I’m not gonna lie, I like the idea behind the electric car Tesla. But thanks to Jamie Lee Curtis, I now have some new reasons to want one. Because according to her, the controls on the Tesla, like the AC and the stereo, they go to 11. Why? Because Elon Musk, the guy behind the Tesla, really liked the movie This Is Spinal Tap.
Suddenly Elon smoking weed on the internet doesn’t seem so far fetched now does it?

There’s big news on the celebrity dating front. Brad Pitt has a new love interest.
Ok, that may be stretching things a bit. Brad was seen out in public with a blonde woman, so of course the internet thinks they are an item. I mean, did the person who put this up online think they had a shot with Brad? Is that why they were wondering about his dating status? Because I’m going to guess that no, they had no shot with that guy.

Bonus Scoopage:
With Steve Perry releasing his first album is ages last week, people are wondering if he’ll get back together with his band Journey. I wouldn’t hold your breath. Yeah, he said in a recent interview, “I”m not sure that’s without stirring up hopes of a reunion,” And he’s clearly not into it. Sorry Journey fans.
