The Scoop for Oct. 9, 2019

When Roseanne was asked to leave her show, things were a bit unsettled for the rest of the cast. But for John Goodman, the bad news was just getting started. Right after, his wife got sick and John fell down the stairs. Now that they’re both doing better, the show is about to debut. But, John won’t tell us how they’re going to deal with Roseanne’s leaving. Is this going to be like when they replaced Darren with another Darren on Bewitched? Remember that? OK, I know that was a stretch. That show was a long time ago.

Even though they may not agree on politics, the ladies on The View are there for each other. And that was made clear when Meghan McCain made her return to the show. Meghan recounted how Abby sat with her while she drank a lot of Jack Daniels after her dad got his diagnosis. Now, no offense Meghan, but that’s the easy part. But Meghan went on to say that she, quote, “…threw up and her sister held my hair back.”
Ok, that’s a friend right there.

Well it only took three weeks for me to lose interest in Dancing With The Stars. Yep. They sent Nancy McKeon home. If Jo is out, I’m out.

This just in from the internet, “Reese Witherspoon and Nina Dobrev Are Loving This Fall Shirt Style.” I have no idea what style that is but that’s what passes for Celebrity News on the internet. Yeah. Suddenly this little 90 seconds of ha ha ain’t so easy is it?

Bonus Scoopage:
The Fantasy Island movie has found its Mr. Roarke. Michael Peña from the Ant-Man movies will take on the role originated by Ricardo Montalban in the classic TV series. Not gonna lie here, I’m kind of looking forward to this one. It’s going to be glorious one way or another.
