The Scoop for Sept. 4 2020

Like her or not, Jane Fonda was, and still is, quite frankly, quite the catch. And she’s had her pick of partners.

Anytime you say anything about COVID-19, you’re bound to get a reaction. Especially if you’re a celebrity. And it doesn’t really matter what you say, someone is going to not be happy. Well, a few days ago, Adam Carolla got Twitter upset at him for his take on the pandemic, and his reaction is actually, kind of refreshing.
He said he’s not apologizing for his controversial take on COVID-19 because they can’t cancel him, and apologies don’t work.
I mean he’s right. There’s really no winning, so you may as well lean into. Besides, he’s right. You can’t cancel a guy who’s best known for a show that ended 16 years ago.

Speaking of COVID-19, it looks like that is what has shut down production on the U.K. set of “The Batman”. And, while there’s no official word on who has it, the rumor is that Batman himself, Robert Pattinson has come down with it.
In related news, Ben Affleck was seen buying a ticket to London while wearing a cape.
