My feelings on the whole “found footage” genre of films is a bit mixed.  I loved The Blair Witch Project, the movie that put the found footage genre on the map.  I like Cloverfield.  I also thought Paranormal Activity was pretty clever and scary as all get out.  But I understand the genre can get a bit over done.

That being said, I really like this short film from Richard Boylan.  He works at Bioware on video games like Mass Effect.  It’s called Timelike and it’s awesome.  The main character is caught in a time loop.  So it’s like Groundhog Day, but way trippier.  If I say any more, I’ll wreck it.  So take eight minutes out of your day, and check this out.
